SKYCOM PTT Launches Prepper National Radio Network™
Dedicated encrypted Push-to-Talk over Cellular network gives preparedness-minded customers organized national, regional, state, local team, and family talk groups.
SKYCOM PTT has launched the Prepper National Radio Network, a dedicated communications platform for customers who purchase eligible SKYCOM PTT Push-to-Talk over Cellular radios. The network is included at no additional charge with eligible radio purchases and is designed to help families, local teams, and preparedness groups stay connected through organized talk groups.
The network includes national, regional, state, local team, and family talk groups. Each talk group is protected with AES encryption, and administrators must approve access before customers may enter available talk groups. Regional talk groups cover all U.S. states and selected territories, while each state has its own private talk group. Local Prepper teams may receive two additional talk groups at no charge, and members who purchase more than one radio receive two custom family talk groups with up to 100 contacts per talk group.
“You can’t protect your family, community, and property without good communication,” said a SKYCOM PTT spokesperson. “The Prepper National Radio Network gives members a structured way to stay connected through SKYCOM PTT.”
